MARNmentorship Artist Book: Practice in Progress
With 16 artist pairings, it was clear that there needed to be a significant archive of the elaborate rich connections that were fostered during the 2022-2023 program year. Each mentor + mentee wrote a poetic reflection that leads us into their work and practices. Programming photography printed on vellum paper opens each pairing featuring the mentees attending professional development workshops, studio visits with all the mentors, and mixers.
2023 Spring Call for MARKETPLACE Artists
The MARN MARKETPLACE is a curated retail art market located within the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB on 191 N Broadway, Suite #102, Milwaukee, WI. The initiative strives to support MARN Members as a consignment platform for small works & artisan goods. All MARKETPLACE inventory is also available online at marnarts.org/marketplace.
Who is Donna Eigen + What is Decoupage
You’re invited to create your own decoupage in a specialty workshop taught by Donna Eigen. Wednesday, January 25th from 5:30-7:30PM in MARN ART + CULTURE HUB (191 N. Broadway) with limited entry to 14 guests!
Donna Eigen gives this age-old art form with a modern twist. Eigen shares materials and techniques she uses to transform paper and glass into functional art. Then guests will get hands-on experience using the techniques in class to create their own masterpiece.
