Our CREATIVE level memberships are designed with practicing artists in mind. Benefits include the access to selling works such as bowls, stickers, or other handmade items in our MARKETPLACE, applying for our annual member exhibitions, access to our MARNmentorship program, as well as cafe and MARKETPLACE discounts.
More than supporting an artist directly, purchasing a CREATIVE level membership helps keep the lights on at our home, the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB. The HUB holds community art events such as MARN Lounge Sessions, artist workshops, and artist talks. Our home is also a destination for local clubs and organizations, such as Edessa School of Fashion, MIAD Black Leaders and Artists Coalition, CopyWrite Magazine, and the newly launched MARN Book Club.
From now until 12/31/22, you can purchase a CREATIVE level membership for yourself or an artist in your life for $70 at the MARKETPLACE. We’ll also throw in a coffee mug, pen, sketchbook, and sticker.
For those who spend $200 on handmade local art at our MARKETPLACE, we’ll throw in a free CREATIVE level membership for yourself or an artist in your life, as well as a pen, sketchbook, and sticker.
What’s especially cool about getting a membership through our MARKETPLACE is that you can gift it – so if there’s an artist in your life who may want to sell their work or participate in our programming, now’s your chance to surprise them with a gift that will keep giving all year!
But even beyond memberships, just purchasing from our MARKETPLACE supports the artist who made the work you purchased, as a majority of the proceeds from each sale are sent back to the original artist.
