“Reflecting my Muslim Americanism” at the Third Ward Art Festival

If you’re stopping by the Third Ward Art Festival this Labor Day weekend, come see our new exhibition “Reflecting my Muslim Americanism,” a collaboration between MARN and local art collective Fanana Banana. The exhibition features local Muslim artists reflecting on ways an identity within an identity can affect or alter mental health, racial equity and inequality, women’s body struggles and political views.

In addition to the exhibition, the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB will be selling handmade items from our member artists such as jewelry, kitchenware, and original artworks. COFFEE + WINE by Interval will be open as well for drinks and quick bites. The MARN ART + CULTURE HUB is located at 191 N Broadway.
