Announcing “Reflecting My Muslim Americanism”

MARN is pleased to announce “Reflecting My Muslim Americanism”, a collaborative exhibition with Fanana Banana running August 31 to October 23, 2022 in the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB.

The exhibition features local Muslim artists reflecting on the perceptions and struggles of the American identity through the Muslim perspective, investigating the ways an identity within an identity can affect or alter mental health, racial equity and inequality, women’s body struggles and political views. Fanana Banana’s mission for this exhibition is to raise awareness to the array of issues Muslim Americans face and how they choose to cope with them.
