October 2022 Gallery Night & Day at the HUB

Join us Friday, October 21 (5-8pm) and Saturday, October 22 (10-4pm) at the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB (191 N Broadway) for the Historic Third Ward’s 2022 October Gallery Night & Day. Grab a beverage from COFFEE + WINE by Interval, experience MARN’s current exhibition, “Reflecting My Muslim Americanism” (including audio interviews of exhibiting artists!), explore the offerings of MARN’s MARKETPLACE, and enjoy featured musicians both days!  

FRIDAY NIGHT! Enjoy the funky music offerings of DJ Sulestial and meet and greet the Fall 2022 MARKETPLACE artists.   

Sully Guay aka Sulestial is an electronic-funk producer/multi-instrumentalist/DJ based out of Milwaukee. Known for throwing funky DJ sets while also playing guitar-on stage,  usually releases electronic-funk grooves made for dancing. But he also releases downtempo house and jazz based future-funk. His new song “FUNKIN MKE” is OUT NOW, bringing the funky grooves Sulestial is known for with a rich house twist sure to make you move your feet.

SATURDAY DAY! Enjoy the musical offerings of Adrienne + Ash. 

Adrienne and Ash are Milwaukee based vocalists, models, and all-around creatives. The identical twins have been familiar with the stage since early childhood and are currently performing soulful renditions of a variety of genres from pop to r&b to jazz and indie.

The Historic Third Ward’s 2022 October Gallery Night & Day coincides with the closing weekend of MARN’s exhibition, “Reflecting My Muslim Americanism” and the new Fall season featured artists within the MARN MARKETPLACE. 

“Reflecting My Muslim Americanism” is an exhibition built in collaboration with Fanana Banana featuring artwork from nine local Muslim artists that reflect the perceptions and struggles of the American identity through the Muslim perspective. The MARN MARKETPLACE is a curated retail art market located within the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB and online! The initiative seeks to support MARN CREATIVE Members as a consignment platform for small works & artisan goods.
