gener8tor Art x Sherman Phoenix Opening Reception

Join us Friday, Aug 11, 2023, 6PM-8 PM at the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB for the opening reception for gener8tor Art x Sherman Phoenix exhibition.

This event is free and open to the public.

The artists featured in this exhibition participated in the gener8tor Art x Sherman Phoenix accelerator, a program that serves the Milwaukee creative community through professional development workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and grant funding for individual artists.

With a focus on supporting creative professionals who have been traditionally underfunded, this program aims to support the business side of these creative practices. The talented participants in the gener8tor Art x Sherman Phoenix 2023 Spring accelerator program are: Nehemiah Edwards, Anwar Floyd-Pruitt, Isaiah Gencuski, Jovanny Hernandez Caballero, Michael Lagerman, Robert Randolph, Victoria Rubinstein, Hannah Samoy, Lalese Stamps, Elena Velez, Gillian Waldo, and Eduardo Zavala.

gener8tor Art x Sherman Phoenix is a program that serves Milwaukee-based creative professionals through professional development workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and grants. Participants receive a $10,000 grant, paired with seven weeks of individualized mentorship on how to strengthen the business side of their art practice.

We are located at 191 N. Broadway Milwaukee, WI 53202. The main entrance does not have automated front doors off the sidewalk of Broadway. However, once entered into our corridor, a wheelchair lift is available.
