Christmas in the Ward at MARN

Stop by and celebrate Christmas in the Ward on Friday, December 2nd from 5:30pm – 8:30pm at the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB (191 N Broadway)!

Picture this: you’re in the Third Ward, watching the annual Christmas tree lighting amid sounds of fireworks and the Bach Chamber Choir. It’s an event filled with holiday cheer and heartwarming displays of community.

But the December Wisconsin air is taking its toll, and after the tree is lit and the fireworks show is over, you’re looking for a place to warm up.

Located a half-block away from the site of the Christmas tree lighting, the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB will be open for you to shop handmade works for sale in the MARKETPLACE and grab and drink from COFFEE + WINE by Interval.

Also, our current exhibition “The Further We Reach, The Closer We See” is on display now at the HUB. The exhibition features the work of 30 visual art CREATIVE level MARN members located in Southeast Wisconsin.

You can read more about the exhibition and listen to an interview between exhibition curators Riley Niemack and Elio Garcia here.

You can find items available in the MARN MARKETPLACE online, all of which are handmade by our member artists, here.
