• As I navigate through the identities I face being a Muslim-Palestinian American and PCOS, my artworks reflect heavily on internal warfare. I have cultivated my artwork through sketching, digital illustrations, one-line drawings, and intuitive pattern painting. Throughout my creative process listening to music influences my intuitive paintings. The artworks created are intended to blend in the struggles of living with my identities in hopes of feeling safe, loved, and relatable with the sense of not struggling alone. Each artwork is monumental in the sense of its derived focus to amplify the inner-self struggles and the weight it carries.

  • I don't have an artist statement, since I don't consider myself an artist, but I have a deep passion for the creative arts and get immense satisfaction from helping artists reach their potential. I also strongly believe that arts administration and curation is a form of creative world building and goes hand in hand with other creative practices to create positive change in communities. I believe that supporting individual artists within creative communities will produce a positive impact on society and support for artists will help address social justice and environmental justice issues.
